Fighting to stay the No. 1 network in Canada, CTV unveiled its plan to remain the best in stability and strength in all key demos.

CTV and CTV Two will boast two schedules representing the best possible balance between freshman, sophomore and returning series than any other network.

Hand-picked from seven different studios are four new big-buzz dramas and three new comedies, including Anger Management with Charlie Sheen, The Mob Doctor with Jordana Spiro, Saving Hope with Erica Durance, The Following with Kevin Bacon, Nashville with Hayden Panettiere, Arrow with Stephen Amell and the new CTV original series, Motive.

“We just simply didn’t have a lot of holes in our schedule that we had to fill,” said Phil King, president of CTV programming. “But having said that, we don’t rest on our laurels.”

CTV will also see the return of the drama Once Upon a Time, the fan favourite Criminal Minds and the fifth and final season of its original series, Flashpoint.

CTV pulled out all the stops with their flashy presentation event, and that meant rolling out the red carpet for the stars, like Panettiere, Amell, Once Upon a Time’s Lana Parrilla, Chi McBride of Golden Boy, The Big Bang Theory co-star Kunal Nayyar, Smash star Megan Hilty and surprise guest Shemar Moore of Criminal Minds.
