Happy Town Anything but “happy”

A new mystery thriller is creeping its way onto /A\, with the premiere of Happy Town Wednesday, April 28 at 10 p.m.

Produced by ABC Studios, Happy Town, shot in Port Hope, Ont., features a rich ensemble cast including television veterans Sam Neill and Steven Weber, and also stars a number of Canadians including Toronto-native and Gemini Award-nominee Sarah Gadon.

A vicious murder brings about old mysteries in the sleepy, unfrequented little town of Haplin, Minnesota also known as Happy Town. Still haunted by a few unsolved kidnappings, a new crime brings the town’s unresolved fears back to torment and question many of its residents’ motives.
